The website www.aboutpeople.gr provides corporate information about the company’s activities.

Please note: Registration and survey participation are not available to visitors of the English version of the website.

ABOUTPEOPLE RESEARCH AND DATA S.A. (trading as “ABOUTPEOPLE S.A.”), based in Greece (166 Syngrou Avenue, Kallithea, 17671, VAT: 800697986, GEMI No. 137060703000), legally represented by Mr. Petros Ioannidis, is the owner and operator of this website.

The following terms and conditions outline the rules governing the use of the ABOUTPEOPLE S.A. website. Please read them carefully. By using www.aboutpeople.gr, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please refrain from using the website.

Use of www.aboutpeople.gr constitutes explicit acceptance of the following terms of use.

General Information

The www.aboutpeople.gr platform allows the general public to learn about the company’s work, register as a respondent, and participate in various surveys (online or otherwise—e.g., in-person interviews, focus groups, central location tests/CLT) in return for rewards. Rewards/incentives are offered to registered users through a point collection system, which can be redeemed for gift cards.

By selecting “I Agree” during registration, you consent to be bound by these Terms. If you do not accept these Terms, you will not be able to participate in surveys conducted by Aboutpeople.

Note: Registration, survey participation, rewards collection, and points redemption are not available to visitors of the English version of the website.

Types of Surveys We Conduct:

  • Focus Groups: In-depth research in group interview format, possibly involving video recording or observation.
  • IDIs (In-Depth Interviews): One-on-one in-depth interviews, potentially recorded or observed.
  • CAWI: Quantitative research using structured, self-administered online questionnaires.
  • F2F (Face-to-Face): Quantitative research with structured questionnaires, either self-completed or with interviewer assistance.
  • CATI: Telephone surveys conducted by an interviewer using structured questionnaires.

Eligibility to Participate

To register for an account on www.aboutpeople.gr, you must be at least 17 years old and reside in Greece. You must also have and manage a personal email account. Most surveys are in Greek, so reading and writing in Greek is required.

Account Creation/Registration

To register, you must provide:

  • A personal email address (used exclusively by you)
  • A password

You agree to:

  • Provide true, accurate, and up-to-date information about yourself
  • Update your information as needed to keep it accurate

If you provide false, inaccurate, or outdated information, or we have reasonable grounds to suspect so, we reserve the right to terminate your account and restrict your use of the website.

By registering, you explicitly agree to receive survey invitations via email or through your account on www.aboutpeople.gr. There is no guarantee regarding the minimum or maximum number of invitations.

If you no longer wish to receive such emails, you may request to delete your membership.

Account Uniqueness

Each user is allowed only one account on www.aboutpeople.gr. Two different users may not share an email address, and one person may not register with multiple email addresses.

Violations will result in immediate deletion of all related accounts. We reserve the right to do so without prior notice.

Account Verification

We reserve the right to request verification of your account at any time. This process enhances data security and helps us prevent abuse.

If selected for verification, you must follow the instructions provided. Failure to comply may result in account deletion.

Active Account

Upon registration, your account becomes active and eligible to participate in surveys. If you are invited to participate in relevant surveys but do not do so for over a year, we may contact you to confirm your interest.

Account Deletion

If you wish to delete your account, along with your personal data and any unredeemed points, you must submit a request either via your dashboard or by email to info@aboutpeople.gr. We will delete your account and data within 30 days.

Privacy & Confidentiality

By using the aboutpeople platform, you agree to maintain the confidentiality of all information and content you encounter as a member.

You may not share or use this information for any purpose other than survey participation, in accordance with these Terms.

Intellectual Property Rights

All material (logos, content, designs, text, graphics, and information) on www.aboutpeople.gr is the exclusive property of ABOUTPEOPLE S.A. and may not be used by third parties for commercial purposes. Republishing, selling, or renting any material without written consent is prohibited. Legal action will be taken for any violations.

User Conduct

As a member, you agree:

  • Not to post offensive, abusive, or inappropriate content
  • Not to upload malware or unsolicited software
  • Not to fraudulently attempt to earn rewards

Any suspected misuse will result in denial of earned rewards.

Prohibited Actions

The site may only be used legally and under the terms of this agreement. Users are prohibited from:

  • Using it illegally
  • Using it for commercial/business purposes
  • Harming its functionality, security, or integrity
  • Impersonating others
  • Distributing, modifying, transmitting, republishing, reusing, or using any site content (texts, survey questions, images, audio, video) without written consent from ABOUTPEOPLE S.A.

Rewards Program

The aboutpeople platform includes a rewards program based on collecting points, which can be redeemed for gift cards.

By registering, you accept the following program terms.

Point Collection System

  • Each survey you complete as a member awards you points.
  • The number of points varies based on factors such as survey duration.
  • Your dashboard displays your accumulated points and related details (e.g., date, survey). Points are credited within 30 days and become immediately redeemable.

Point Redemption / Rewards

You may redeem points as soon as you have enough for a listed gift card.

Redemption must be initiated manually through your account. It is not automatic.

ABOUTPEOPLE S.A. may change the available gift card options at its discretion without prior notice.

  • Points can only be redeemed via gift card selection from the options shown on the site.
  • Rewards are only given to members complying with all participation terms. Violations may lead to forfeiture.
  • If your account is deleted by aboutpeople, your points will be void and cannot be redeemed.
  • Points are non-transferable between member accounts.

Reward Management

ABOUTPEOPLE S.A. reserves the right to assign a third-party to manage the rewards distribution. Please refer to our Data Protection Policy to understand how your data will be handled in this case.

ABOUTPEOPLE S.A. conducts a prize draw program for users who do not participate in the rewards program. Terms and conditions for the prize draw program apply separately.
